Star Couplings have several advantages in industrial applications. It resists small misalignments and in turn decreases stress on connected machinery, hence increasing its life.
The elastomeric spider dampens the vibration and absorbs shocks, hence providing smoother operation and thereby saving the machinery from damage. The replaceable spider provides for easy installation and maintenance.
